3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 4774 and GB 5226.1-2008 apply to this document.

3.1 Separating mechanical electrical equipment

An electrical device equipped with a separation machine for controlling the separation machine.

3.2 Braking resistor

The use of self-heating to convert the electrical energy generated by the rotational kinetic energy of the centrifuge into a resistor that reduces the downtime of the centrifuge.

3.3 Electrical equipment installation location diagram

For electrical equipment that is to be removed from the separation machine for transport, the application diagram indicates that the electrical equipment is on the separation machine position.
