Scope
GB/T 36453-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 学习、教育和培训 电子课本信息模型.
GB/T 36453-2018 defines the information model of an e-textbook, meaning the abstract description of which pieces of information an electronic textbook contains and how they relate to each other.
It sets out the logical levels of that information and the information elements, grouped as container, value, extension and undecided elements, together with the information structure that links them.
It then covers e-textbook metadata, the textbook configuration information, pages with their own metadata and configuration, resources and controls, and the rules for extending the information elements.
An informative annex maps the e-textbook metadata to Dublin Core metadata, and the standard refers to GB/T 21365-2008 on learning object metadata. It is meant for the design and production of electronic textbooks. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.
