Scope

GB/T 36289.2-2018 is the English-translated version of 晶体硅太阳电池组件用绝缘薄膜第2部分：氟塑料薄膜.

GB/T 36289.2-2018 is Part 2 of the Chinese standard on insulating films for crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and deals with fluorine plastic films, which are mostly used as the protective surface layer of module backsheets.

It specifies how these films are classified, their technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with packaging, marking, transport and storage.

The test methods draw on references covering electrical strength, volume and surface resistivity, tracking index, light transmittance and haze, damp heat, salt spray, colour difference, water vapour permeability, flammability and abrasion resistance, as well as IEC 61215.

It also defines fluorine content as the mass percentage of fluorine in the film formulation. Film makers and module manufacturers use it. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

GB/T 36289 "Insulating Film for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell Modules" is divided into the following parts.

--- Part 1. Polyester film;

--- Part 2. Fluoroplastic film;

This part is part 2 of GB/T 36289.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 36289 specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, and inspections of fluorine plastic films for crystalline silicon solar cell modules. Inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage.

This section applies to crystalline silicon solar cell module with fluorine plastic film (hereinafter referred to as "fluorine film").
