Scope
GB/T 36208-2018 is the English-translated version of 工业烟气排放系统防腐衬里技术要求及评价方法.
GB/T 36208-2018 covers the rubber anticorrosion lining of steel or concrete flue gas exhaust systems, which carry the exhaust of coal, fuel, gas or biomass boilers or of industrial plants emitting corrosive dust and exhaust gases.
It defines industrial exhaust gas and anticorrosion lining, rubber either bonded to the inner wall of a steel chimney or mechanically fixed to a concrete one.
It sets the general provisions, starting from the operating environment: a long-term flue gas temperature that should not exceed 93 °C and a minimum ambient temperature not lower than -30 °C. It then gives the technical requirements, the evaluation methods and rules, and marking, packaging, transport and storage, drawing on rubber test methods for tensile properties, hardness, liquid resistance, ageing and bond strength. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.
