Scope

GB/T 36203-2018 is the English-translated version of 分子筛 分类.

GB/T 36203-2018 classifies the molecular sieve products now on the market and sets the principles for naming them. It repeats from GB/T 33032 the terms needed to use it: natural molecular sieve, often called natural zeolite, synthetic molecular sieve, silica-alumina ratio, catalyst, catalyst carrier and adsorbent.

Clause 4 gives the categories of molecular sieves and clause 5 the way they are named. Two informative annexes list the main natural zeolite species with their typical chemical composition and the main framework structure types of molecular sieves.

It applies to managing how molecular sieve products are classified and named, and to identifying and distinguishing products and their types. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard gives the terms and definitions, classification and naming principles of existing molecular sieve products.

This standard applies to the management of the classification and naming methods of molecular sieve products, and also applies to the identification of molecular sieve products and their types. difference.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 33032 apply to this document. For ease of use, the following is a list of GB/T 33032 Some terms and definitions in.

3.1 Natural molecular sieve

A naturally occurring crystalline aluminosilicate having a uniform pore size.

Note: Natural molecular sieves are often referred to as natural zeolites.

3.2 Synthetic molecular sieve

A synthetic porous solid having a uniform pore structure, mainly a porous crystalline aluminosilicate.

3.3 Silicon-aluminum ratio

The relative ratio of the number of moles of silica to aluminum oxide.

Note: The literature also uses the relative ratio of the number of moles of silicon to aluminum, which is the binary of the relative ratio of the number of moles of silica to aluminum oxide. one.

3.4 Catalyst

A substance that changes the rate of reaction but does not change the total standard Gibbs free energy of the reaction.

3.5 Catalyst carrier

A substance in a catalyst used to carry an active component.

3.6 Adsorbent

A porous solid that has the ability to adsorb gases or solutes.

Note: Molecular sieves are often used as adsorbents in the adsorption separation process.
