1 Scope
This standard gives the molecular sieve related terms and their definitions, which are classified according to the following categories.

Some unambiguous terms are not defined here.
This standard applies to the production, use, development and distribution of molecular sieve products.
2 terms and definitions
2.1 General terms
2.1.1 Molecular sieve
With a uniform micropore, the pore size and the general size of a class of solid material, its structure shown in Appendix A.
Note. The molecular sieve product is a product prepared from all or part of the molecular sieve.
2.1.2 Zeolite molecular sieve
Crystalline aluminosilicate with uniform pore size.
Note. zeolite molecular sieve is the most representative molecular sieve, often known as zeolite or molecular sieve.
2.1.3 Molecular sieve membrane
To prepare a film-like molecular sieve material.
2.1.4 Natural zeolite
Naturally formed microporous aluminosilicate.
2.1.5 Carbon molecular sieve
A porous carbonaceous compound having a pore size made of coal or an organic compound as a raw material.
2.1.6 Silicone tetrahedron
The center is a silicon atom, surrounded by four oxygen atoms in the tetrahedron.
2.1.7 Aluminum oxide tetrahedral
The center is an aluminum atom, surrounded by four oxygen atoms in the tetrahedron.
