Scope

GB/T 36159-2018 is the English-translated version of 建筑用铝及铝合金表面阳极氧化膜及有机聚合物膜层、性能、检测方法的选择.

GB/T 36159-2018 is a guide to choosing the finishes applied to aluminium and aluminium alloys used in buildings: anodic oxide coatings, anodic composite coatings with electrophoretic paint, and organic polymer coatings such as electrostatic powder, fluorocarbon and acrylic paint or roll coating.

It describes the structure and characteristics of each coating type, including the barrier and porous layers of an anodic film, colouring by electrolytic colouring or dyeing, and the sealing processes.

It then sets out environment types and the selection of coatings, coating properties and test methods for each environmental condition. It applies to anodic oxide and organic polymer coatings on architectural aluminium, and other coatings may refer to it. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 February 2019.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the type of film and the structure of various layers of anodized film and organic polymer film on aluminum and aluminum alloy surfaces for construction. And characteristics, environmental types, selection of membrane layers under various environmental conditions, selection of membrane properties, and selection of detection methods.

This standard is applicable to the anodized film and organic polymer film on the surface of aluminum and aluminum alloy for construction. Other films can be referred to this standard.

2 Normative references

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

Aluminium and aluminium alloy anodized films and organic polymeric films - Part 2

Aluminium and aluminium alloy anodized films and organic polymeric films - Part 3. Organic polymeric coatings

3 Film type

The type of film layer is specified in Table 1.

4 Structure and characteristics of various types of membranes

4.1 Structure and characteristics of anodized film

The anodized film forms an oxide film on the surface of the aluminum, which is integral with the aluminum substrate and thus has excellent adhesion. Anodized film structure It consists of two parts, a barrier layer and a porous layer. The barrier layer is a very thin and dense film layer close to the substrate, and the thickness of the barrier layer depends on the anodization The applied voltage is independent of the anodizing time. The porous layer is grown on the basis of a barrier layer, the thickness of which depends on the anodization The amount of electricity passed, the thickness is proportional to the current density and processing time. The color of the anodized film can be treated by electrolytic coloring or dyeing Processing is obtained. The last step of the anodizing treatment line is sealing. The process includes high temperature sealing process, medium temperature sealing process, and often Warm sealing hole process, etc.
