Scope
GB/T 35939-2018 is the English-translated version of 脑心肌炎病毒间接ELISA抗体检测方法.
GB/T 35939-2018 sets out an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for detecting antibodies against encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) in pigs.
It applies to antibody testing of porcine serum for epidemiological surveys and laboratory diagnosis of encephalomyocarditis, and a short description of the disease's epidemiology is given in an annex.
The standard refers to GB 19489 and SN/T 2984 for biosafety in the laboratory and to NY/T 541 for collecting, storing and transporting diagnostic samples.
It lists the abbreviations used, including BSA, HRP-SPA, TMB and the viral protein VP1, and the equipment and materials: microplate reader, high-speed refrigerated centrifuge, single and 12-channel micropipettes, 96-well reaction plates and syringes.
Veterinary laboratories use it for serological monitoring. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.
