GB/T 35913-2018 is the English-translated version of 地采暖用实木地板技术要求.

GB/T 35913-2018 sets the technical requirements for solid wood flooring laid directly over a floor heating system. It defines this product and covers its classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage.

Floors are classed by the way the boards are joined, including locking and tongue-and-groove types, by shape, which separates ordinary boards from antique-style flooring, and by surface finish.

The standard draws on GB/T 2828.1 sampling plans, the Chinese timber-name standards, GB/T 20238 on laying, acceptance and use of wood floors, and the forestry standards LY/T 1700 and LY/T 1859.

Flooring manufacturers and testing bodies refer to it when making and checking wood floors for heated floors. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.
