Scope

GB/T 35900.1-2018 is the English-translated version of 动物流感检测 第1部分:H1亚型流感病毒核酸荧光RT-PCR检测方法.

GB/T 35900.1-2018 is Part 1 of the Chinese national series on animal influenza detection and gives a real-time fluorescent RT-PCR method for detecting the nucleic acid of H1 subtype influenza virus.

It applies to swine and poultry and to their products. The standard defines the abbreviations used, such as Ct value, cRNA, LNA probes and the FAM and TAMRA dyes, and lists the reagents and materials, such as TRIzol, chloroform and isopropyl alcohol, with their storage temperatures.

It relies on GB/T 19438.1 for avian influenza RT-PCR and on GB 19489 for laboratory biosafety. The other two parts cover H3 subtype detection and a dual assay for H1 and H3.

It is used by veterinary, quarantine and animal health laboratories. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

Foreword

GB/T 35900 Animal Influenza Test is currently divided into 3 parts.

--- Part 1. Fluorescent RT-PCR detection method for H1 subtype influenza virus nucleic acid;

--- Part 2. Detection of nucleic acid fluorescence of H3 subtype influenza virus by RT-PCR;

--- Part 3. Double-fluorescence RT-PCR detection method for H1 and H3 subtype influenza virus nucleic acids.

This part is part 1 of GB/T 35900.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
