1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and observation methods of atmospheric pressure observation in surface meteorological observation.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Atmospheric pressure

Atmospheric pressure.

Note. The unit is hectopascals (hPa).

3.2 The station pressure

Meteorological observation station or barometric pressure sensor at the height of the pressure.

3.3 The maximum pressure station

The maximum value of the station's atmospheric pressure for a given period of time.

3.4 Minimum site pressure

The lowest pressure of the station in a given time period.

3.5 Sea-level pressure

From the pressure of this station to calculate the mean sea level pressure.

4 General requirements

4.1 Observation content
