3 Terms, definitions and classification

GB/T 13890, JC/T 507 and JC/T 908 as defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Artificial stone and synthetic stone

3.1.1 Artificial stone

With unsaturated polyester resin (or thermoplastic polymer), hydraulic cement or a mixture of both as a binder, natural stone and /

Or recovered waste stone fragments (and/or powders), and/or natural quartz (sand, powder), and/or aluminum hydroxide powder, and /

Glass, broken mirrors and other different types of additives as the main aggregate, the adhesive mixing, vacuum pressure, vibration molding, coagulation and other processes

Processed with a stone texture of composite materials, including artificial stone quartz stone, artificial stone, artificial stone solid surface material and artificial stone water mill

Stone and other products. The manufacturing process is irreversible.

3.1.2 Synthetic stone agglomeratedstone

Stone (quartz and other silicate minerals, calcite, dolomite and other carbonate minerals) as the main aggregate, polymer or cement

Or a mixture of the two is a binding material, optionally adding a compatible material, mixing under stirring, pressurizing, vibrating, shaping and curing in a vacuum state

Note Aggregates include aggregates (primary aggregates) and/or additives for different materials such as ceramic, cullet, and broken mirror.
