Scope

GB/T 35156-2025 is the English-translated version of 结构用纤维增强复合材料拉索.

GB/T 35156-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the tension member of a bridge or a building made from carbon, glass or basalt fibre rather than steel wire — the cable body of sheets, rods, bars or strands, the anchorage and the outer protective sheath, the breaking load and the static load elongation, the watertightness, the interlaminar shear strength and the glass transition temperature above which the resin stops carrying shear between the fibres, and the pre-tensioning. It replaces GB/T 35156-2017, under the China Building Materials Federation. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026, replacing GB/T 35156-2017.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 35156-2017 "Fiber reinforced composite cables for structures". Compared with GB/T 35156-2017, In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Added the term and definition of “fiber reinforced composite material harness” (see 3.7);

b) Added the type of carbon fiber composite cables in the cable body (see 6.3.2);

c) The static load elongation requirement for cables has been changed (see 6.5.2, 6.5.2 of the 2017 edition);

d) Added the watertightness requirements for cables (see 6.5.4);

e) The test method for glass transition temperature has been changed (see 7.3.4, 7.3.4 of the 2017 edition);

f) The requirements for packaging diameter have been changed (see 9.2, 9.2 of the 2017 edition).
