1 Scope

This document defines the terminology and definitions of tea seed oil, and specifies its classification, relative density and fatty acid composition, quality requirements, and inspection procedures.

It outlines the requirements for labeling and marking, packaging, storage, transportation, and sales, and describes the corresponding inspection methods.

This document applies to both crude tea seed oil and refined tea seed oil. The quality specifications for crude tea seed oil are only applicable to the trade of crude tea seed oil.
