Scope
GB/T 35002-2018 is the English-translated version of 微波电路 频率源测试方法.
GB/T 35002-2018 gives the test methods for the electrical parameters of microwave circuit frequency sources. It applies to direct and indirect analog synthesis sources and to direct and indirect digital synthesis sources, and other products may use it as a reference.
After general requirements on the test environment, test instruments and precautions, it describes how to measure output frequency, frequency step, frequency time stability, frequency temperature stability, frequency accuracy, output power and its flatness, power temperature stability, harmonic and spurious suppression, single sideband phase noise, frequency hopping time and power dissipation.
It also defines the terms and symbols used, such as F0 for output frequency and P0 for output power. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 August 2018.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Output frequency
The frequency source output signal frequency value.
3.2 Frequency stepping
The absolute value of the difference between the two adjacent output frequencies of the frequency source, ie the minimum resolvable frequency interval.
3.3 Frequency time stability
The frequency source changes the output frequency within a specified period of time under specified conditions.
3.4 Frequency temperature stability
The frequency of the output frequency changes with temperature under the specified conditions.
3.5 Frequency accuracy
The degree of agreement between the measured output frequency of the frequency source and the nominal output frequency.
