Scope
GB/T 35001-2018 is the English-translated version of 微波电路 噪声源测试方法.
GB/T 35001-2018 gives the methods for measuring the main electrical parameters of microwave noise sources.
It first sets the general requirements: test conditions and environment, including the standard atmospheric conditions for referee tests, the requirements for test instruments and equipment, such as calibration, grounding, 50 ohm coaxial impedance and antistatic facilities, and the precautions to take during testing.
It then describes the detailed test methods for excess noise ratio (ENR), ENR flatness, the ENR temperature coefficient, insertion loss and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR).
It builds on the terms of GB/T 12179-2013 and GJB 8125-2013. Manufacturers and test laboratories use it for the electrical parameter testing of noise sources. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 August 2018.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 12179-2013 and GJB 8125-2013 apply to this document.
3.1 Super-noise ratio temperature coefficient
alphaENR In the operating temperature range, the coefficient of variation of the supernoise ratio with temperature.
4 General requirements
4.1 Test Conditions and Environmental Requirements
Unless otherwise specified, all tests shall be at a temperature of 25 °C ± 3 °C, a relative humidity of 20% ~ 80% and a pressure of 86 kPa ~ Under 106kPa conditions. The test environment should have no mechanical vibration and electromagnetic interference that will affect the accuracy of the results.
The standard atmospheric conditions for the arbitration test were. temperature 25°C±1°C, relative humidity 48%~52%, and air pressure 86kPa~106kPa.
4.2 Test Instruments and Equipment
Test equipment and equipment should meet the following requirements.
a) The test equipment shall be certified, calibrated and within the valid period of measurement;
b) The range and accuracy of test instruments and equipment should meet the test requirements;
c) The instrument and equipment should be well grounded during testing;
d) Unless otherwise specified, the input and output impedance of the coaxial system shall be 50ohm;
e) Anti-static facilities shall meet the requirements of GJB3007A-2009.
