3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Seawater cooling water treatment agent

Seawater Cooling water treatment chemicals used in the process.

Note. Generally include seawater corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitor and dispersant, bacteria and algae inhibitors.

3.2 Bacteria algae inhibitor microbicide

Chemical compounds that inhibit or kill bacterial vegetative cells, fungal vegetative cells and spores, unicellular algae and protozoa.

3.3 Biofilm

Micro-organisms in the cooling system solid-liquid interface within the solid surface growth and reproduction of the membrane formed.

3.4 Microbial slime

Microbes and their secreted mucus mixed with other organic and inorganic impurities viscous substances.

3.5 Chen Hai water agedseawater

Take natural seawater dark to preserve more than 3 months, when using the supernatant or 0.45µm filter membrane filtrate.
