GB/T 34273-2021 is the English-translated version of 煤液化柴油十六烷指数计算法 四变量公式法.
GB/T 34273-2021 is the Chinese national method for calculating the cetane index of coal liquefaction diesel with the four variable equation. It gives the equation itself, the properties that feed it - the density and three distillation points - the procedure of the calculation, its limits of application and the report.
It applies to direct coal liquefaction diesel, indirect coal liquefaction diesel and the blends of the two. Coal chemical companies, refineries and fuel laboratories use it.
It replaces GB/T 34273-2017, was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 34273-2017 "Four-variable formula method for calculation of cetane index for coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthetic distillate fuel", and Compared with GB/T 34273-2017, in addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical content changes are as follows:
a) changed the scope of the document (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:2017 edition);
b) Added the calculation of the cetane index of coal direct liquefaction diesel (see 6.1.1);
c) Added the calculation of cetane index for coal liquefaction blended diesel (see 6.1.3).
1 Scope
This document specifies the cetane index of coal direct liquefied diesel, coal indirect liquefied diesel and coal liquefied blended diesel blended by the two. calculation method.

4 Principles of the method
