Scope

GB/T 34027-2017 is the English-translated version of 热连轧主传动十字轴式万向联轴器.

GB/T 34027-2017 sets what the cross-shaft universal coupling of the main drive of a hot continuous rolling mill must be.

It fixes the type classification, the basic parameters and main dimensions, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging and storage; the couplings are divided into eight types listed in its Table 1, and an informative annex guides their selection.

The requirements it calls up cover the welded joints - groove preparation to GB/T 985.1-2008 and GB/T 985.2-2008, ultrasonic testing of welds to GB/T 11345-2013 and the defect classification of GB/T 19418-2003 - the bearings, with radial bearing tolerances and the radial internal clearance of the rolling bearing clearance series, the fasteners, with the mechanical properties of bolts, screws and studs to GB/T 3098.1-2010 and of nuts to GB/T 3098.2-2015, the geometrical tolerances of GB/T 1184-1996 and the limits and fits of the standard tolerance grades, and the heavy machinery general technical requirements for product inspection and for the non-destructive testing of steel castings and steel forgings.

Packaging follows GB/T 13384-2008 and the rust-preventive packaging of GB/T 4879-2016, marking the pictorial marks of GB/T 191-2008, and dispatch the rules of GB/T 6388-1986; the flange-end coupling basic parameters of the metallurgical equipment series are also cited.

It applies to the cross-shaft universal coupling of the mill and of the power input drive shaft system of the hot strip mill it is connected to. Issued on 12 July 2017, it has applied since 1 February 2018.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the hot-rolling main drive cross shaft type universal coupling (hereinafter referred to as universal coupling) type classification, the basic parameters and Main dimensions, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage.

This standard is applicable to the cross shaft type universal coupling of the rolling mill and the power input transmission shaft system of the connected hot strip mill.
