GB/T 33642-2017 is the English-translated version of 农林拖拉机轮胎 快速耐磨试验方法.
GB/T 33642-2017 is the Chinese rapid wear test for the rubber driving wheel tyres of agricultural and forestry tractors. It defines the tyre pattern height, fixes the units of measurement and the errors allowed on them, from ± 0.5 % on distance and mass to ± 0.1 mm on height, and then sets the test conditions.
The test site is a clean, hard concrete or asphalt road with a longitudinal slope below 0.1 % and a lateral gradient below 0.5 %, whose ground adhesion coefficient at 15 % slip is not less than 0.85.
It applies to agricultural and forestry tractor tyres, and other agricultural machinery tyres may refer to it. It cites GB/T 2979-2008, GB/T 6960.4, JB/T 7282 and HG/T 2177. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the fast-wear test method for rubber-driven wheel tires for agriculture and forestry tractors.
This standard applies to tires for agricultural and forestry tractors. Other agricultural machinery tires can also refer to the implementation.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 6960.4 Definitions and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Tire pattern height
The distance from the surface of the tire to the top of the gear on the center of the tire.
4 Units of measurement and allowable errors
This standard uses the following measurement units and allowable errors.
a) Distance: m or km, ± 0.5%;
b) Height: mm, ± 0.1mm;
c) Quality: kg, ± 0.5%;
d) force: kN, ± 1.0%;
e) Atmospheric pressure: kPa, ± 0.2 kPa;
f) tire pressure: kPa, ± 5.0%;
g) dry/wet bulb thermometer temperature: °C, ± 0.5 °C.
5 Test conditions
5.1 Test site
The test site shall be a clean, hard concrete road or asphalt pavement with a longitudinal slope of less than 0.1% and a lateral gradient of less than 0.5%, and even to both sides of the transition. Slip rate of 15% when the ground adhesion coefficient should be no less than 0.85.
