Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 33630-2017 "Corrosion Protection Specification for Offshore Wind Turbine Generators". Compared with GB/T 33630-2017, except for... Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2017 edition);

b) The term and definition of "vapor phase corrosion inhibitor" have been added (see 3.4);

c) The corrosive environment zoning has been changed (see 4.1.1,.2017 version 4.1.1);

d) The zoning of corrosive environments for offshore wind turbines has been revised (see Table 1,.2017 version of Table 1);

e) The overall corrosion protection measures have been changed (see 4.2,.2017 edition of 4.2);

1 Scope

GB/T 33630-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering protecting an offshore turbine - the corrosivity zones from the buried foundation through the submerged and splash zones to the atmosphere above, the coating systems and the cathodic protection for each, the corrosion allowance, and the inspection at sea. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 33630-2017.

This document specifies the general requirements for offshore wind turbine generator sets, corrosion environment control, steel components, composite material parts, and electrical equipment. Protection, maintenance, and inspection of group storage. This document applies to the corrosion protection design, construction, acceptance, and storage of horizontal axis offshore wind turbine generator sets (hereinafter referred to as "generator sets") and their components. and operation and maintenance. This document does not apply to structures below the tower of offshore wind turbine generators.
