Scope

GB/T 33584.6-2017 is the English-translated version of 海水冷却水质要求及分析检测方法 第6部分:异养菌的测定.

GB/T 33584.6-2017 is Part 6 of GB/T 33584 and covers the seawater quality required by a seawater cooling system together with the plate count method for the heterotrophic bacteria in the cooling water.

It gives the principle, the reagents and materials, the instruments and equipment, the analysis and determination, the counting of the colonies and the way the total colony count is calculated and reported, and it defines heterotrophic bacteria, the colony forming unit and the spreading colony.

It applies to seawater cooling water and also to raw seawater. The method collects a water sample directly instead of using a slime collecting device, which shortens sampling and preparation.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 6682 on water for analytical laboratory use. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword

GB/T 33584 "seawater cooling water quality requirements and analysis of detection methods" is divided into six parts.

- Part 1: Determination of calcium and magnesium ions;

- Part 2: Determination of zinc;

- Part 3: Determination of chlorides;

- Part 4: Determination of sulphate;

- Part 5: Determination of dissolved solids;

- Part 6: Determination of heterotrophic bacteria.

This part is Part 6 of GB/T 33584.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This section is presented by the State Oceanic Administration.

This part is headed by the National Marine Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC283).

Introduction

In the sea water as the water source of the water cooling system is easy to breed microbial dirt deposition and other hazards, therefore, in the process of running the system often The amount of microbial biomass is to be used to assess the degree of biological contamination of the system and the effectiveness and economy of the biocontrol technology used, most of which Often measured the total number of mucus-forming bacteria. But in the mucus-forming bacteria in the determination process, the need to use a complete set of mud collection device, the sample for the biological Viscous samples, the sample state is an aqueous solid, subject to quantitative dilution after grinding determination, resulting in this sampling method is limited in practice, and research Grinding, dilution of mud samples and then measured, but also increased the determination of the steps and the rate of contamination, making the detection of mucus-forming bacteria is difficult to daily.

The heterotrophic bacteria identified in this section are a class of planktonic bacteria living in seawater cooling water, and their presence and quantity can directly reflect the cold water But the degree of biological pollution system. This part of the abandoned mud collection device, direct collection of water samples to determine the number of heterotrophic bacteria, simplifying the sampling and preparation steps Sudden, so that the determination of heterotrophic bacteria can be daily, to improve the operation and management of water cooling water level.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 33584 specifies the requirements for seawater cooling water quality and the determination of heterotrophic bacteria in seawater cooling water by plate counting Principle, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, analysis and determination, colony count, the calculation of the total number of colonies and reporting methods.

This part is applicable to the determination of heterotrophic bacteria in seawater cooling water and also to the determination of heterotrophic bacteria in the original seawater.
