GB/T 33558-2017 is the English-translated version of 地面数字电视网络接口模块（NIM）技术要求和测量方法.
GB/T 33558-2017 gives the technical requirements and the measurement methods for the network interface module, or NIM, of terrestrial digital television receiving equipment.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the UHF/UHF (high frequency) (UHF) network interface module for terrestrial digital television receiving equipment (hereinafter referred to as " NIM module) technical requirements and measurement methods.
This standard is applicable to terrestrial digital television receiving equipment with UHF/UHF (UHF) NIM with transmission stream output Module.

4 Technical requirements
4.1 Appearance structure requirements
NIM module appearance should be neat, the surface should not have bump marks, scratches, cracks, burrs, moldy and other defects, the surface coating should not blister, turtle Crack, fall off and so on.
NIM module metal parts should be tightened without loosening, should not have corrosion and other mechanical damage, irrigation should not spill.
