Scope
GB/T 26272-2010 is the English-translated version of 地面数字电视调谐器基本性能要求和测量方法.
GB/T 26272-2010 sets the basic performance requirements and the measurement methods of the terrestrial digital television tuner.
Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the basic performance requirements and methods of measurement of the VHF/UHF electronic tuner of digital terrestrial TV reception equipment, and that it applies to such tuners having an intermediate frequency output.
The table of contents shows clause 3 "Terms and definitions, abbreviations", clause 4 "technical requirements", with subclauses on exterior structural requirements, work environment requirements, basic design requirements and performance requirements, clause 5 "Measurement", with sixteen subclauses, and an informative Appendix A with a table of TV channel frequency allocations.

The foreword states that Appendix A is an informative annex, that the standard was proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, that it is centrally managed by the national audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment Standardization Technical Committee, and that China Electronics Standardization Institute, Tsinghua University and other units drafted it; it was issued on 2011-01-14 and has applied since 2011-06-01.

4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Exterior structural requirements
Tuners should look clean, there should be no uneven surface marks, scratches, cracks, burrs, mildew and other defects, surface coating thickness should not blistering, cracking, Shedding.
