Scope
GB/T 33543.1-2017 is the English-translated version of 海洋能术语 第1部分:通用.
GB/T 33543.1-2017 is Part 1 of GB/T 33543 and gives the general vocabulary of ocean energy for use in marine energy work and related fields.
Clause 2 defines ocean energy itself - the tidal, current, wave, temperature-difference and salinity-gradient energy carried by seawater - together with the economic assessment of ocean energy resources, the environmental impact assessment of ocean energy projects, ocean energy technology and its assessment, ocean energy generation, the ocean energy conversion device, arrays of such devices and the prime mover that absorbs the energy.
The later clauses hold the terms of tidal energy, current energy, wave energy, temperature difference and salinity gradient, and the part closes with a reference list and an index. It was issued on 9 March 2017 and has applied since 1 October 2017.
