Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 33539-2017 "Specifications for Marine Experience Diving Services". Compared with GB/T 33539-2017, the main differences are in the structural design.

Aside from integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The definitions of snorkeling and scuba diving introductory sessions have been removed (see 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 in the 2017 version), and the requirements for diving equipment have been changed.

b) The wording regarding obtaining a permit to operate a marine diving area has been amended (see 4.1.1, 5.1.1 in the 2017 version), and the description of high-risk sports has been amended.

The applicant for the project operation permit (see 4.1.3, 5.1.3 in the 2017 version);

c) The dress code requirements for personnel have been revised (see 4.2.1, 5.2.1 in the 2017 version), and basic professional competence requirements for service personnel have been added (see...).

d) The requirements for setting up diving area warning signs have been changed (see 4.3.1.7, 5.3.1.7 in the 2017 version);

e) Increased maintenance requirements for breathing regulators and hygiene requirements for diving equipment (see 4.3.2), and changed the testing requirements for gas cylinders.

Maintenance requirements for air compressors (see 4.3.2, 5.3.2 in the 2017 edition);

f) Requirements for emergency rescue facilities such as automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and pure oxygen equipment have been added (see 4.4.1);

g) The frequency of safety emergency drills has been changed (see 4.4.4, 7.1 in the 2017 version);

h) The water temperature requirements for diving areas have been changed (see 5.1, 4.1 in the 2017 edition);

i) The way service providers describe diving risks has been changed (see 6.1.1.2, 6.1.1 in the 2017 version);

j) The age limit for divers has been changed (see 6.1.1.3, 6.1.1 in the 2017 version);

k) The name of the letter of responsibility has been changed (see 6.1.2, 2017 version of 6.1.2);

l) Increased awareness and requirements for environmental protection during training and diving (see 6.2.2, 6.3.2.5);

m) The requirement for training in mask drainage skills has been removed (see 6.2.4 in the 2017 version);

(n) The diving process has been further divided (see 6.3.1, 6.3.2, and 6.4);

o) The physical requirements for diving technical instructors have been removed (see 6.3.1 in the 2017 version);

p) The required ratio of diving instructors to divers for snorkeling has been increased (see 6.3.1.1);

q) The pressure specifications for diving cylinders have been changed (see 6.3.1.3, 6.3.4 in the 2017 version), and a minimum cylinder pressure specification has been added (see...). 6.3.2.4);

r) The time restrictions for diving services have been changed (see 6.3.1.5, 6.3.7 in the 2017 version);

s) Added procedures for handling discomfort experienced by divers during the acclimatization phase (see 6.3.2.2);

t) Increased requirements for the protection of participants' personal privacy information (see 7.5), and increased requirements for the retention of company records (see 7.6);

u) Service evaluation requirements have been added (see 8.4);

v) The diagrams of uncommon hand gestures for introductory diving have been removed (see Appendix B of the 2017 edition), and the order of the diagrams has been changed (see Appendix B).
