Foreword
GB/T 33488 "Chemical plastic welding system with pressure equipment inspection method" is divided into four parts.
- Part 1: General;
Part 2: Appearance inspection;
Part 3: Ray detection;
- Part 4: Ultrasonic testing.
This part is part 4 of GB/T 33488.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 33488 specifies the general requirements for the ultrasonic testing method for chemical welding equipment for chemical industry, parameter setting, inspection Test procedures and test reports.
This part is suitable for the use of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), acrylonitrile - butadiene - styrene plastic (ABS) Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and other thermoplastic pipe or sheet, and the use of hot air welding, extrusion welding, hot melt Welding and soldering process welding of pressure vessels and pressure piping welded joints by type A pulse reflection method for ultrasonic testing.
