Foreword

GB/T 33172, GB/T 33173 and GB/T 33174 together constitute a series of national standards to support the establishment of asset management system.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 55001.:2014 "asset management system requirements".

This standard is proposed and centralized by China Standardization Research Institute.

Introduction

This standard specifies the requirements for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the management system (asset management system) for asset management.

This standard applies to all organizations. The organization decides which assets this standard applies to.

The main application of this standard include.

a) participation in the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the asset management system;

b) the implementation of asset management activities involved in the parties and service providers;

c) assess the organization to meet the laws and regulations, contract requirements and the organization's own internal and external institutions.

The order in which this standard describes the requirements does not reflect the importance of the requirements or indicate the order in which they are implemented.

GB/T 33174 contains guidelines for further application of the requirements described in this standard.

GB/T 33172 contains general information about asset management and terms applicable to this standard. It is helpful to consider these guidelines Management of assets.

This standard uses the definition of "risk" in GB/T 24353-2009 and ISO Guide 73..2009.

This standard is intended to enable the organization's asset management system to be coordinated with the requirements of the relevant management system and to be integrated.

Appendix A provides additional information on areas related to asset management activities.

Asset management system requirements

1 Scope

This standard gives the requirements of the asset management system in the organizational environment.

This standard applies to all types of assets and to all types and sizes of organizations.

Note 1. This standard is intended to manage physical assets, but may also be used for other types of assets.

Note 2. This standard does not specify financial, accounting or technical requirements for specific types of assets.

Note 3. In the GB/T 33172, GB/T 33174 and the standard in the "asset management system" refers to the management system for asset management.
