Scope
GB/T 32065.10-2020 is the English-translated version of 海洋仪器环境试验方法 第10部分:盐雾试验.
GB/T 32065.10-2020 is Part 10 of the Chinese environmental test methods for oceanographic instruments, on the salt fog test. It sets the test requirements and the information to be recorded, and serves to judge how well marine instruments and components resist salt fog and how it affects their performance and function.
The test uses a salt fog chamber, a damp heat chamber or a combined chamber, plus a drying oven at (40 ± 2) °C. The salt solution is 4.9 % to 5.1 % sodium chloride by mass, chemically pure or better, in distilled water, at pH 6.5 to 7.2 at 35 °C. The spray stage runs at (35 ± 2) °C, the damp heat stage at (40 ± 2) °C with (93 ± 3) % relative humidity. Issued on 19 November 2020, it has applied since 1 June 2021.

3 Test requirements
3.1 General requirements
The standard atmospheric conditions in this section shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 4.2 in GB/T 32065.1-2015.
3.2 Test equipment
3.2.1 The test equipment should comply with the provisions in Chapter 5 of GB/T 32065.1-2015.
3.2.2 The test equipment should be a combination of salt spray test chamber (chamber), damp heat test chamber (chamber) or composite salt spray test that meets the test requirements Box (chamber), and drying box.
3.2.3 The damp heat test chamber (chamber) should meet the requirements of 3.2 in GB/T 32065.6-2015.
3.2.4 The composite salt spray test chamber (chamber) shall meet the requirements of 3.2 in GB/T 32065.6-2015 when performing damp heat test.
3.2.5 The drying box should be able to provide a dry environment of (40±2)°C.
3.3 Test conditions
3.3.1 Salt solution
This experiment uses sodium chloride (chemically pure and above) and distilled water to prepare a salt solution with a concentration of 4.9% to 5.1% (mass fraction). The salt The pH of the solution at 35°C should be between 6.5 and 7.2. It can be measured with a pH meter or precision pH test paper. The pH of the salt solution can be used It can be adjusted with dilute hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide above the purity level.
3.3.2 Test temperature and test humidity
The test temperature in the spray phase is (35±2)°C; the test temperature in the humid and hot phase is (40±2)°C, and the relative humidity is (93±3)%.
3.3.3 Settlement rate
Adjust the sedimentation rate of the salt spray so that the collector can be placed at any position in the effective space of the salt spray test box (chamber) or composite salt spray test box (chamber).
