3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Vertical index error

When the instrument is in normal operating position, the horizontal visual axis, the difference between the readings with a predetermined value of the vertical dial.

3.2 One measuring the horizontal standard deviation

Some of the target of several rounds of observation in the horizontal direction, the obtained imputed to a standard deviation of the measured values back direction.

3.3 One measuring the vertical angle standard deviation

Some of the target of several rounds of vertical angle observations obtained imputed to the one measuring the vertical angle of the standard deviation.
