Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document specifies the technical requirements related to food quality. For food safety requirements, please refer to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and food safety standards. document. This document replaces GB/T 31116-2014 "Eight Treasure Porridge Canned Food". Compared with GB/T 31116-2014, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2014 edition);
b) The term and definition of "canned porridge" have been added (see 3.1), and the terms and definitions of "caking" and "layering" have been removed (see.2014 edition). (
c) The definition of the term "canned eight-treasure porridge" has been changed (see 3.2,.2014 edition 3.1);
d) Product categories have been added and product codes have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2014 edition);
e) Requirements for animal-derived raw materials such as sugar, starch sugar, meat, eggs, and aquatic products have been added (see 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4), while white sand has been removed. Requirements for sugar and food additives (see section
5.1 of the.2014 edition);
f) Sensory requirements have been changed (see 6.1,
5.2 of the.2014 edition);
g) The requirements for solids content, soluble solids content, pH, and dry matter content have been changed (see 6.2,
5.3 of the.2014 edition). The sodium chloride content requirement has been increased (see 6.2);
h) Requirements for hygiene indicators, food additives, and nutritional fortifiers have been removed (see 5.4, 5.5, and
5.6 of the.2014 edition);

This document applies to the production, inspection, and sale of canned porridge.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Canned porridge/canned congee A porridge-like canned food made primarily from water, grains, and/or their products, with or without the addition of other edible ingredients and auxiliary materials. Tibetan food.
Note. This includes canned eight-treasure porridge and other canned porridge products.
3.2 Eight Treasure Porridge (canned mixed porridge/canned mixed congee) Made from eight or more kinds of plant-based raw materials such as grains, beans, and dried fruits as the main ingredients, with or without the addition of other auxiliary materials. Canned porridge (3.1).
