1 Scope

This section GB/T 29509 specifies the method for the determination of silver loaded carbon content.

This section applies to the determination of gold contained in the silver content of carbon. Measuring range. 10.0g/t ~ 2500.0g/t.

2 Method summary

Sample by post-ash, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid medium, using air - acetylene flame to flame atomic absorption spectrometer wave

Determination of absorbance at 328.1nm long silver, calculated according to the standard curve loaded carbon in the amount of silver.

Deduct background absorption, loaded carbon coexist elements do not interfere with the determination.

3 Reagents

Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.

3.1

hydrochloric acid (rho = 1.19g/mL).

3.2

nitric acid (rho = 1.42g/mL).

3.3

nitric acid (rho = 1.42g/mL), pure class distinctions.

3.4

hydrochloride (317).

3.5

with saturated sodium chloride solution.

3.6 silver standard stock solution

Weigh 0.5000g Silver (mass fraction >=99.99%), placed in 100mL beaker, add 20mL nitrate

Acid (3.3), and heated to dissolve completely, purge nitrogen oxides boiling, remove cooling, chlorine ions are not transferred to the water capacity 1000mL brown

Flask, 30mL of nitric acid (3.3), dilute to the mark and mix. This solution 1mL containing 0.5mg silver.

3.7 Silver standard solution

Pipette 50.00mL standard silver stock solution (3.6) in a brown 500mL volumetric flask, 10mL of nitric acid was added (3.3), dilute to the mark and mix. This solution 1mL containing 50µg silver.

4 Instrument

Atomic absorption spectrometer, with a silver hollow-cathode lamp.

Under optimum conditions the instrument, who can achieve the following indicators atomic absorption spectrometer can be used.

Characteristic concentration. In line with the measuring solution matrix solution, features silver concentration should be less than 0.034µg/mL.

Precision. standard solution measurement of high concentrations 10 times the absorbance, the standard deviation should not exceed the average absorbance of 1.0%; the lowest

Concentration of standard solution (not "zero" concentration of the standard) measuring the absorbance of 10 times, the standard deviation should not exceed the maximum concentration of the standard level

Absorbance was 0.5%.

Linear curve. The curve is divided into five sections according to concentration, than the difference between the absorbance of the absorbance difference between the highest and the lowest segment segment should

Not less than 0.8.
