Live work;
The staff members are in contact with the live part of the work, or any part of the staff's body or the tools, devices and equipment used Work in the area.
Note 1. Examples of live operations include replacement of insulators, spacer rods, cleaning of insulators and live parts, and replacement of other components.
Note 2. The methods used for live operation, such as insulated rod operation, insulated glove operation, equipotential operation.
Note 3. This entry is numbered 651-01-01 in IEC 60050-651.:1999 and this entry has been revised to clarify the concept of live work.

Live part of the working part of the working part of the workinginthevicinityofenergizedparts the staff's body or the use of tools or any other objects into the adjacent area, but has not yet entered the live work area of the operation.
Note. This entry is numbered 651-01-02 in IEC 60050-651.:1999 and this entry has been revised to clarify the concept of live work.
651-21-03
Live work area liveworkingzone the space surrounding the live part is reduced by the following measures. Only skilled workers are allowed to enter, Hold the proper air pitch and use live work tools.
Note 1. This distance refers to the outer boundary from the live part to the live area, which is greater than or equal to the electrical distance and man-machine operating distance at the maximum rated voltage Sum.
Note 2. Live operating areas and special precautions are generally determined by country or company procedures.
Note 3. This entry is numbered 651-01-06 in IEC 60050-651.:1999 and this entry has been revised to clarify the concept of live work.
651-21-04
Proximity zone
Close to the limited space in the live area, take specific precautions to prevent access to live areas.
Note 1. There is a risk of electric shock to the live area.
Note 2. The outer boundary of the neighboring area and the specific precautionary measures are generally governed by the rules of the State or the company.
Note 3. This entry is numbered 651-01-07 in IEC 60050-651.:1999 and has been revised to provide additional precautions for taking precautionary measures in adjacent areas detail.
