Scope

GB/T 18857-2019 is the English-translated version of 配电线路带电作业技术导则.

GB/T 18857-2019 is the Chinese technical guide for live working on distribution lines of 10 kV to 35 kV. It sets the general requirements, the work system, the methods of operation and the technical requirements, together with the testing, transport and storage of the tools, the precautions to take during the job and the typical work items.

It applies to live overhaul and maintenance of 10 kV lines at altitudes of 4500 m and below and of 20 kV to 35 kV lines at altitudes of 1000 m and below, and live work on 3 kV and 6 kV lines may refer to it.

It defines insulating shielding apparatus and cites GB/T 2900.55, GB 26859 and eleven DL/T standards on live-working tools. It replaces GB/T 18857-2008, was issued on 10 May 2019 and has applied since 1 December 2019.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 18857-2008 "Technical Guidelines for Live Lines for Distribution Lines", compared with GB/T 18857-2008, mainly The technical changes are as follows.

--- Increased the technical requirements for 10kV live working in the 1000m~4500m area (see Chapters 7, 8 and 9);

--- Increased technical requirements for live working at 20kV and 35kV in areas of 1000m above sea level (see Chapters 7, 8 and 9).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, working system, operation mode and technology of live working of 10kV~35kV voltage grade distribution lines.

Requirements, testing and transportation of work tools, precautions for work and typical work items.

This standard is applicable to 10kV voltage grade distribution lines and altitudes of 1000m and below in altitudes up to 4500m and below.

Live maintenance and maintenance of distribution lines of 20kV~35kV voltage class. For live charging of 3kV and 6kV lines, refer to this standard.

Note: In view of the variety of electrical equipment in various places, the equipment layout on the pole is quite different, and there are many types of work items. Therefore, this standard is in the operation items and operation methods. Only guide the principle.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 2900.55 and GB/T 14286 apply to this document.

3.1 Insulating protective equipment

An appliance made of insulating material that protects the human body during live working.

Examples: insulated helmets, insulating sleeves, insulated shawls, insulation suits, insulating pants, insulated gloves, insulated shoes (boots), etc.
