Scope

GB/T 28603-2012 is the English-translated version of 无水氟化氢生产技术规范.

GB/T 28603-2012 is the production technical regulation for anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, which the text shortens to AHF.

Clause 1 says the standard specifies the layout of the producing enterprise, the process design requirements, the basic technical requirements of production, the production principles, the production process control, the maintenance and repair of production equipment, product quality, production safety, and environmental protection and pollution control, and that it applies to existing and new anhydrous hydrogen fluoride production enterprises, new here including altered and expanded ones; no exclusion is stated.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 534, GB 4053.3, GB 7746, GB 8978-1996, GB 9078-1996, GB 12348-2008, GB 12349, GB 13271-2001, GB/T 16157, GB 16297, GB 18599, GB 50016, GB 50489, HG/T 2832 and YB/T 5217.

Clause 3, on layout and process design requirements, begins with 3.1 Basic requirements and 3.2 general layout requirements, and its subclause 3.2.1 Site Selection asks that new, renovated and expanded plants avoid densely populated areas, stand on the upwind side of the minimum annual frequency wind direction, stay out of what the draft calls the nest wind zone, and comply with GB 50489.

The draft breaks off inside that subclause, so the clauses after 3.2.1.2 are not shown on the page. The page files the standard under ICS 71.060.01 and Chinese classification G10 as a recommended national standard, proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and administered by SAC/TC63/SC1.

Its users are the anhydrous hydrogen fluoride production enterprises named in clause 1, for plant siting, process design, process control, equipment upkeep and pollution control. It was issued on 29 June 2012 and has applied since 1 December 2012.
