Scope

GB/T 28389.2-2012 is the English-translated version of 主传动驱动型AC轴自动分度铣头第2部分：技术条件.

GB/T 28389.2-2012 is Part 2 of GB/T 28389 and carries the specifications for the auto index milling head with the A and C axes of the main drive, which the draft names the AC main drive shaft driven automatic indexing milling head.

Clause 1 states that this part specifies the design, manufacture and inspection requirements for that head and that it applies to automatic indexing heads with an AC, or BC, axis driven by the main drive and fitted to CNC milling machines, CNC boring and milling machines, machining centres and the like, which it then calls heads for short.

The foreword states that GB/T 28389 is divided into two parts, Part 1 on the testing of the accuracy and Part 2 on the technical requirements, that this part was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation, that it is administered by the national metal cutting machine standardization technical committee (SAC/TC22) and that it was drafted by Guilin Machine Tool Company Limited.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 3837-2001, GB 5226.1, GB/T 9061-2006, GB/T 13306-1991, GB/T 10944.1-2006, GB 15760-2004, GB/T 16769-2008, GB/T 25373, GB/T 25376, GB/T 28389.1, JB/T 2326-2005, JB/T 3207-2005 and JB/T 3997-1994.

Clause 3, on general requirements, states that this part is a concrete supplement and addition to standards such as GB/T 9061, GB/T 25376 and GB/T 25373, and that for the items of acceptance not specified in this part the related acceptance inspections of those standards are still to be carried out.

Clause 4, on model and parameters, requires in 4.1 that the model of the head comply with JB/T 2326-2005 and refers in 4.2 to Table 1 for the basic parameters; the draft breaks off there, so the later clauses cannot be described.

GB/T 28389 "main drive shaft driven AC automatic indexing milling head" is divided into two parts.

--- Part 1. Testing of the accuracy;

--- Part 2. Technical requirements. This is Part 2 GB/T 28389 in.

Rules in this section in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given draft.

1 Scope

This section GB/T 28389 provisions of the main drive shaft driven AC automatic indexing milling head design, manufacture and inspection requirements.

This section applies to CNC milling, CNC boring and milling machines, machining centers and other main drive driven AC (or BC) axis automatic indexing Head (hereinafter referred to as heads).
