Scope

GB/T 28264-2017 is the English-translated version of 起重机械 安全监控管理系统.

GB/T 28264-2017 is the Chinese national standard for the safety monitoring and management system of a crane.

It defines the units the system is built from - information collection, information processing, control output, information display, information output interface and remote transmission - and then fixes the system structure, what the system monitors, and its performance requirements: conditions of use, integration error, immunity to interference, continuous operation, signal interfaces, functions, information collection and storage, display, communication protocol and management authority.

The last clause is the system test, with eighteen verification items from monitoring parameters and status to video, historical traceability, self-diagnosis, storage time, alarm device and sampling period.

It applies to the cranes classified in GB/T 20776 and cites GB 5226.2 and GB/T 6067.1. It replaces GB/T 28264-2012, was issued on 14 October 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.
