Scope
GB/T 28125.2-2020 is the English-translated version of 气体分析 空分工艺中危险物质的测定 第2部分:矿物油的测定.
GB/T 28125.2-2020 is the Chinese national method for measuring mineral oil in the gases handled by an air separation plant.
Part 2 of GB/T 28125, it sets out the principle, the reagents and materials, the apparatus and its preparation, sampling, the determination of suspended oil, the determination of vapour oil, the calculation of the total mineral oil content, the report and the precautions to observe.
Suspended oil is caught on a glass fibre filter membrane, dissolved out in tetrachloroethylene and read on an infrared spectrophotometer; vapour oil is adsorbed on an activated carbon tube, desorbed with carbon disulfide and measured by gas chromatography with a flame ionisation detector.
The method serves oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium and compressed air over the range 0.001 mg/m³ to 10 mg/m³. Issued on 19 November 2020, it has applied since 1 October 2021.

Foreword
GB/T 28125 "Determination of Hazardous Substances in Gas Analysis and Air Separation Process" is temporarily divided into three parts.
---Part 1: Determination of hydrocarbons;
---Part 2: Determination of mineral oil;
---Part 3: Determination of nitrogen oxides.
This part is Part 2 of GB/T 28125.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 28125 specifies the method principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment for the determination of mineral oil content in air separation process gases.
Preparation, sampling, determination of suspended oil, determination of steam oil, total mineral oil content, reports and precautions.
This part is applicable to the determination of mineral oil content in oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium and compressed air in the air separation process. mine The determination range of oil content is 0.001mg/m³~10mg/m³.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Mineral oil
A mixture of C6 and above alkanes, cycloalkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons.
3.2 Suspended oil
Mineral oil in granular form.
3.3 Steam oil
Mineral oil in gaseous form.
4 Principle of the method
The mineral oil in the gas exists in two forms. suspended oil and steam oil. The sum of the two forms of oil content is the total content of mineral oil.
The gas sample is filtered through a glass fiber filter membrane to filter the suspended oil, and the glass fiber filter membrane with the suspended oil is soaked in tetrachloroethylene to control the oil.
The solution is fully dissolved, and the solution is measured with an infrared spectrophotometer.
The activated carbon tube is used to adsorb the steam oil, and the activated carbon that adsorbs the steam oil is soaked and desorbed with carbon disulfide, and is equipped with hydrogen flame ion The gas chromatography of the chemical detector measures the solution.
5 Reagents and materials
5.1 Perchloroethylene. use 4cm cuvette, air pool as reference, scan between 3300cm-1~2600cm-1, absorbance does not exceed
