This document replaces GB/T 27534.5-2011 "Technical Specifications for Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Survey Part 5.Goats" and is consistent with GB/T
Compared with 27534.5-2011, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);
b) Added investigation contents on body shape, appearance and production performance (see 6.2 and 6.3);
c) The number of surveys has been changed (see Chapter 7, 4.2.1 and 4.3.3 of the.2011 edition);
d) Added survey methods (see Chapter 7);
e) Records and archives management has been modified (see Chapter 8, Chapter 6 of the.2011 edition);
f) The Goat Genetic Resources Survey Table (see Appendix B, Appendix A of the.2011 edition) has been modified.

Livestock and poultry genetic resources are important strategic resources for maintaining national ecological security and agricultural security, and are the material basis for the high-quality development of animal husbandry.
