Introduction

GB/T 26237 "Information Technology Biometric Data Interchange Format" supports interoperability between biometric applications and systems Operation and data exchange, the biometric data exchange format is specified for different biometric modes, in line with the specified in GB/T 26237 the parties in the biometric data exchange format can decode each other's biometric data, so as to meet the requirements of applying biometric technology to Complexity requirements of various applications:

GB/T 26237 "Information Technology Biometric Data Exchange Format" is proposed to be composed of 15 parts:

--- Part 1: Framework: The purpose is to specify the common content, meaning and representation applicable to the format of biometric data:

--- Part 2: Fingerprint detail point data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and compliance test for fingerprint minutiae points:

try method:

--- Part 3: Fingerprint spectral data: The purpose is to specify a fingerprint data record exchange format and conformity testing method:

--- Part 4: Fingerprint image data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and compliance test for fingerprint images method:

--- Part 5: Face image data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and compliance test for face images method:

--- Part 6: Iris image data: The purpose is to specify an iris image data record exchange format and compliance test method:

--- Part 7: Signature/signature time series data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format for signature/signature data and compliance testing methods:

--- Part 8: Fingerprint skeleton data: The purpose is to specify a fingerprint data exchange format based on the fingerprint line skeleton and conform to sexual testing method:

--- Part 9: Vascular image data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and compliance test for human blood vessel images:

try method:

--- Part 10: Hand contour data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and conformity test for hand contour data:

try method:

--- Part 11: Processed signature/signature dynamic data: The purpose is to specify a type of processed signature/signature dynamic data Data record exchange formats and compliance testing methods:

--- Part 12: Face characteristic data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and compliance test for facial characteristics method:

--- Part 13: Sound data: The purpose is to specify a voice data recording exchange format and compliance testing method:

--- Part 14: DNA data: The purpose is to specify a DNA data record exchange format and compliance testing method:

--- Part 15: Palmprint image data: The purpose is to specify a data record exchange format and compliance test for human palmprint images:

try method:

Digital facial images are used in a variety of applications including identity checks and computerized automatic facial recognition: Although the image format has been it is standardized for several situations, such as passports and driver's licenses, but it is still necessary to specify a standard data format for digital face images in order to meet the needs of various suppliers:

interoperability between vendors:

Typical applications are:

---Identity check with face image, the face image has been fully processed so that the person performing the identity check can confirm, for example, moles and Small features such as scars that can be used for identification;

---Complete identity recognition by comparing people and face images;

---Computer automatic face biometric recognition (one-to-many search);

---Computer automatic face biometric verification (one-to-one comparison):

The purpose of this document is to provide a face image format for face recognition applications that require the exchange of face image data:

These applications are used on various devices, including those that require data storage within limited resources, and in order to improve the accuracy of face recognition this document not only stipulates the data format, but also stipulates the scene constraints (light source, posture, expression, etc:), picture attributes (positioning, shooting equipment, etc:) focal length, etc:), digital image properties (image resolution, image size, etc:):

This document introduces the definition of some image types to meet the classification requirements of some applications, each of which is specific to a certain image type the type is specified: This part of the standard supports both binary encoding and XML encoding to meet the actual needs of users: use Binary encoding can be used in environments with limited transmission bandwidth or storage space; using XML encoding can meet the requirements of modern IT architecture;

Users can choose binary code or XML code for visual application:
