Scope
GB/T 26237.13-2023 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 生物特征识别数据交换格式 第13部分:声音数据.
GB/T 26237.13-2023 is Part 13 of the Chinese series on biometric data interchange formats, and covers voice data. Voice is the biometric that arrives over a channel rather than from a sensor: the same speaker sounds different on a landline, a mobile and a conference microphone, and the format has to record enough about the capture and the coding for a comparison made later to be meaningful. It also has to accommodate both raw audio and the parametric representations that speaker recognition systems actually work on. The standard sets the registered format type identifiers, the common voice data interchange format with its conventions, the voice record general header, the speech representation header and data, the modes and worked examples, with a normative annex giving the conformance test method. It took effect on 1 December 2023.

This document specifies a data interchange format that can be used for the storage, recording and transmission of human digitized acoustic data (speech), which From a single speaker in a single session: This data format is used in various Speaker Identification and Verification (SIV) applications, including text-dependent It is text-independent and makes minimal assumptions about the data collection conditions or collection environment: Use data encapsulated in this format for other purposes It is possible, for example, with automatic speech recognition (ASR), but this is beyond the scope of this document: This document also does not deal with voiceprint features or Data processing at the voiceprint model level does not involve specific application requirements, equipment or features: This document supports non-standard extended data, supports Collected raw data and digitally processed (enhanced) sound data: Any processing of raw input needs to be documented and contain In the metadata associated with the speech representation: This document does not deal with data flow technology: This document does not address time-stamping of stored and transmitted biometric data, nor does it address the use of encryption techniques to protect biometric data: authenticity, integrity and confidentiality of data: Information conforming to the format specified in this document can be recorded on machine-readable media, and can also be transmitted between systems through data communications: This document gives the clauses defined by the XML Schema after the clauses describing the common sound data exchange format: This document contains terms commonly used in the fields of speech recognition and speaker recognition, as well as terms from other ISO standards:
