Scope

GB/T 26194-2026 is the English-translated version of 蓄冷系统性能测试方法.

GB/T 26194-2026 is a method for testing the performance of cool storage systems. It describes how to test the cooling capacity and efficiency of a cold storage system, and its chapters cover terms, definitions and symbols, classification, requirements, instruments, test method and test programme, calculation of results and the test report.

Appendices give an example of a design daily load distribution, methods of measuring fluid flow, an example equipment diagram and a test report form. It applies to the testing of complete cold storage systems.

This edition changed the definition of design day load distribution and the accuracy requirements for measuring instruments. Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027, it replaces GB/T 26194-2010.

Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 26194-2010 "Performance Test Methods for Cold Storage Systems". Compared with GB/T 26194-2010, except for structural adjustments... Aside from integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The definition of the term "design day load distribution" has been changed (see 3.1.20, 2010 version 3.1.20);

b) The descriptions for the two test types, namely, cold storage capacity test and cold storage system cooling capacity test, have been changed [see Chapter 4, b) and c), 2010. [b) and c) in Chapter 4 of the edition;

c) The requirements for the accuracy, precision, and resolution of measuring instruments and their accompanying reading devices have been changed (see Table 2).

1 Scope

This document describes the testing methods for the cooling capacity and efficiency of a cold storage system.

This document applies to the testing of complete cold storage systems.

3 Terms, Definitions and Symbols

3.1.1 Cool-storage system

A general term for cold storage devices used to meet all or part of the refrigeration load.

Note: This system consists of a refrigeration unit, cold storage medium, cold storage device or container, heat dissipation equipment or system, and other auxiliary equipment, or is a subsystem of the main refrigeration system. system.

3.1.2 Cool-storage device

Containers and cold storage spaces for storing cold energy.

Note: This includes the refrigerant and auxiliary equipment, such as heat exchangers, agitators, circulating pumps, flow regulators, valves, and baffles.

3.1.3 Cool-storage cycle

The alternating process of storing and releasing cold is completed within the cold storage device.

Note: During this process, the system is in the same state at the beginning of cold storage and at the end of cold release.

3.1.4 Cool-storage medium

A cold storage device is a substance used to store cold energy.

3.1.5 Secondary refrigerant

A fluid medium that transfers cooling energy from one place to another.
