4 general principles and general requirements
4.1 General Principles
a) part model should be able to accurately express the design information of parts;
b) part model contains geometric elements of parts, elements and engineering elements of constraint;
c) information on the expression of the part model should have the ability under the circumstances to ensure the design intent can be correctly updated or modified;
d) does not allow the existence of redundant elements, it must not contain extraneous results and modeling geometric elements;
e) Part Modeling data should be considered between links and references to the relationship between, for example, the geometric elements of the model, constraints, elements and engineering elements
Between the right to establish relations of logical relationships and references, should be able to meet all kinds of information updated in real time model needs;
f) should be fully reflected in the modeling design for manufacturing [DesignforManufacturing (DFM)] guidelines, improve parts can be made
Manufacturability.
4.2 general requirements
a) participate in three-dimensional design of mechanical parts should be three-dimensional modeling, which includes not only the self-made parts, including standard and purchased parts, etc;
