Scope
GB/T 25124-2019 is the English-translated version of 高级人才寻访服务规范.
GB/T 25124-2019 sets out what an executive search service must provide: the basic requirements on the agency and its staff, the content of the service, the service process and the evaluation and improvement of the service.
It defines executive talent, executive search service, consultant, client, candidate and employee.
A service agency must hold a business licence, train its consultants in the skills the work needs, protect the rights and interests of both client and candidate, keep trade secrets and personal information confidential under a confidentiality agreement, and must not approach people who are not free to move.
Practitioners are expected to have good language, communication and coordination skills. It replaces GB/T 25124-2010, was issued on 31 December 2019 and has applied since 1 January 2020.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 25124-2010 "Specifications for Senior Talent Search Services".
Compared with GB/T 25124-2010, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows.
--- Modified the wording of "Scope" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2010 edition);
--- Added four terms and definitions of "consultant", "client", "candidate" and "employee" to improve "senior talent" and "senior talent" "Seeking service" definition (see Chapter 2);
--- Amended the title of Chapter 3; deleted the relevant requirements about "institutional qualification" requirements, "human resources service personnel qualification certificate" Specific content of "requests" and "databases"; increased the basic requirements for services provided by service agencies and the ability to "employees" Requirements, and Chapter 4 service content (see Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the 2010 edition);
--- Some clauses in the "service process" have been adjusted and specific requirements have been made (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the 2010 edition).
1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements, service content, service process, and service evaluation and improvement requirements for senior talent search services.
This standard applies to senior talent search services.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1 Executive talent
Senior managers and senior professional technicians or other scarce personnel with rich professional knowledge, experience, and creativity.
2.2 Executive search service
According to the needs of customers for senior talents, we provide them with a series of activities such as consulting, searching, selection, evaluation, matching, recommendation, and onboarding management.
2.3 Consultant
Professionals who provide senior talent search services.
2.4 Client
Various agencies purchasing senior talent search services.
2.5 Candidate
Senior talents identified as clients based on client requirements.
2.6 Employee
Various types of staff engaged in senior talent search services.
3 Basic requirements
3.1 Service organization
3.1.1 Institutions that provide senior talent search services (hereinafter referred to as service institutions) shall obtain business licenses in accordance with the law.
3.1.2 The service organization shall provide consultants with professional skills training related to senior talent search services.
3.1.3 Service agencies and consultants shall safeguard the rights and interests of both clients and candidates, and shall not disclose or illegally use known trade secrets and individuals Information, in accordance with confidentiality agreements.
3.1.4 The service agency shall not involve personnel who are not allowed to move when conducting senior talent search services.
3.2 Employees
3.2.1 Practitioners should have good language skills and communication and coordination skills.
