1 Scope

This section GB/T 24795 specifies the test methods for the performance of commercial vehicle axle of the rotary shaft lip seal and determination principles.

This section applies to commercial vehicle axle sealing element working pressure is less than 0.05MPa for rotary shaft lip seal rubber materials (Hereinafter referred to as "ring") performance tests.

4 Pre-test procedures

To facilitate accurate analysis of the test results to be measured during the trial before the seals and the physical characteristics of fitting values.

a) the primary seal lip diameter;

b) Vice-lip seal diameter (if available);

c) seals the outer diameter and roundness, concentricity;

d) ring radial force;

e) ring appearance quality;

f) shaft diameter and surface hardness, surface roughness;

g) the cavity diameter and surface roughness.
