The general requirements are that the brake chamber be manufactured to approved product drawings and technical documents by the prescribed procedure, that its surface be smooth and flat and free of flash and burrs, that the metal plating and oxidation layers show no peeling or rust, that painted surfaces comply with TQ-2-2 of JB/T 5673-1991, and that the chamber be able to work at temperatures from minus 30 degrees C to 70 degrees C. The performance requirements begin with tightness, which demands that the pressure drop be zero after the chamber has been charged to the nominal pressure at the working stroke and held for 5 min, and continue with the thrust characteristic, measured with the chamber charged to 400 kPa at the maximum working stroke of the piston rod.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 2828.1, GB/T 13384 and JB/T 5673-1991, and the foreword states that this part was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation, that it is held by SAC/TC140, and that it was drafted by the Luoyang Tractor Research Institute and China First Tractor Group Co., Ltd. The draft on the page breaks off inside 4.2.2, so the test method, inspection, marking and packaging clauses are not shown. It was issued on 15 November 2009 and has applied since 1 May 2010.

1 Scope
This section GB/T 24649 specifies the pneumatic braking system of tractor trailer brake chamber series parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection Inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements.
This section applies to pneumatic braking system of tractor trailer brake chamber (hereinafter referred to as brake chamber).

3 Series Parameter
Pneumatic braking system of tractor trailer brake chamber series of parameters should meet the requirements of Table 1.

4 Technical Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 brake chamber shall be manufactured in accordance with prescribed procedures approved product drawings and technical documents.
4.1.2 brake chamber surface should be smooth, flat, should have no flash, burrs, metal plating and the oxidation layer should be no peeling and rust, painted surfaces Shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 5673-1991 in the TQ-2-2.
4.1.3 brake chamber should be able to work at a temperature of -30 °C ~ 70 °C.
4.2 Performance Requirements
4.2.1 Tightness
The air filled with the brake chamber, in the case of nominal pressure, stroke work, packing 5min, the pressure drop should be zero.
4.2.2 Thrust Characteristics
4.2.2.1 The air filled with the brake chamber, in the case of 400kPa pressure, maximum working stroke of the piston rod should meet the minimum thrust
