GB/T 23848-2018Ferrous(II) sulfamate for electroplating (English PDF)

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 23848-2009 "Ferrous sulphate for electroplating", and GB/T 23848-2009 compared to the main technical changes as follows.

--- Removed the expression of molecular formula and relative molecular mass in range (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of 2009 edition);

--- Modify the indicator values for copper, lead, manganese, sulphate and densities in the requirements and delete the requirements for nitrates (see Chapter 3, 2009 Version of Chapter 3);

--- Increasing the copper, lead, zinc, manganese and chromium content of the formula (see 4.6.5,4.7.5,4.8.5,4.9.5 and 4.10.5, 2009 edition 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7);

--- Modify the HSR, sulfate and chloride analysis procedures (see 4.5, 4.11 and 4.12, 2009 edition 4.2, 4.8 and 4.10);

--- Removed the test method of nitrate content (see 2009 version 4.9);

--- Modify the method of determination of density (see 4.13, 2009 edition of 4.11);

--- Modify the content of the inspection rules (see 5.1, 5.2, 5.5 and 5.6, 2009 editions 5.1, 5.2, 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7);

--- Added "safety" section (see Chapter 7).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for ferrous sulphamate plating, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and Safety.

This standard applies to metal iron and sulfamic acid as raw materials for the electroplating with sulfamic acid iron.
