Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 23846-2009 "cobalt sulphamate for electroplating", compared with GB/T 23846-2009 main technical changes as follows.

--- Removed the expression of molecular formula and relative molecular mass in range (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of 2009 edition);

--- Modify the requirements of sodium, sulphate and density index value, remove the nitrate requirements (see Chapter 3, 2009 edition of the 3 chapters);

--- Increasing the test solution preparation (see 4.2);

--- Increased nickel, copper, iron, lead, zinc, manganese, sodium and chromium content of the formula (see 4.5,4.6,4.7,4.8,4.9,4.10,4.11 and 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8 and 4.9 for the 2009 edition;

--- Modify the sulfate, chloride and density analysis steps (see 4.13, 4.14 and 4.16, 2009 edition 4.10, 4.12 and 4.14);

--- Modify the determination of pH requirements (see 4.15, 2009 edition of 4.13);

--- Deleted nitrate content test method (see 2009 version 4.11);

--- Modify the content of the inspection rules (see 5.5, 2009 version 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7);

--- Added "safe" chapter (see Chapter 7).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the cobalt sulfamate plating requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety.

This standard applies to cobalt salt or cobalt metal as raw material obtained by the cobalt sulfamate.

3 Requirements

The quality of cobalt sulphamate for electroplating shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
