Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 23761-2009 "Test methods for the performance of photocatalytic air purification materials". Compared with GB/T 23761-2009, the main technical changes in addition to editorial changes are as follows.

--- Deleted the term "photocatalyst" (see 2.1 of the 2009 edition);

--- Added the term "zero-level air" (see 3.2);

--- Revised the statement of principle (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the 2009 edition);

--- Modified reagents or materials (see 5.2, 4.2 of the 2009 edition);

--- Modified the supply of reaction gas (see 6.1.2, 5.1.1 of the 2009 version);

--- Modified the diagram of the reaction test device of Figure 1 (see Figure 1, Figure 1 of the 2009 edition);

--- Increased cross-sectional view of the photocatalytic reactor (see Figure 2);

--- Modified the structure of the adjustment block in the photocatalytic reactor (see 6.1.3, 5.1.2 of the 2009 version);

--- Modified the parameters of UV light source and visible light source (see 6.1.4, 5.1.3 of 2009 version);

--- Modified the preparation of test samples (see Chapter 7, 5.3 of the 2009 edition);

--- Removed testing of samples with low photocatalytic removal rate (see 6.7 of the 2009 edition);

--- Modified the calculation formula of performance stability [see formula (5), formula (4) of 2009 version];

--- Modified the calculation formula of acetaldehyde mineralization rate [see formula (9), formula (7) of 2009 version];

--- Added the calculation formula of the photocatalytic removal rate of formaldehyde [see formula (10)].

1 Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents or materials, equipment, samples, and tests for testing methods for air purification performance of photocatalytic materials and products. Procedure, test data processing and test report.

This standard applies to photocatalytic materials and products to remove acetaldehyde (or formaldehyde) performance in the air.
