Foreword

This document is drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 "Directives for

standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing

documents".

This document replaces GB/T 2351-2005 "Fluid power systems and

components - Connectors and associated components - Outside diameters of

tubes and inside diameters of hoses". Compared with GB/T 2351-2005, in

addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) For outside diameters of tubes, add 3, 60, 75, 90, 100, 115, and 140;

delete 14, 34, 40 (see Table 1; Table 1 of the 2005 edition);

b) For inside diameters of hoses, add 4, 63, 76, 90, 100, 125, and 150; delete

20, 40, 50 (see Table 2; Table 1 of the 2005 edition);

c) Delete the description of the scope of application of a and b in Table 1

(see Table 1 of the 2005 edition).

This document is identical to ISO 4397:2011 "Fluid power connectors and

associated components - Nominal outside diameters of tubes and nominal hose

sizes".

This document has made the following minimal editorial change:

- In order to coordinate with existing standards, change the standard name

to "Fluid power systems and components - Outside diameters of tubes and

inside diameters of hoses".

1 Scope

This document specifies information on the nominal outside diameters of rigid

or semi-rigid tubing and nominal hose inside diameters to be used with fluid

power systems and components:

a) nominal outside diameters for tubes, irrespective of material composition;

b) a list of nominal sizes for hoses made of rubber or plastic.

Note: Actual outside diameters and tolerances for tubes can be found in ISO 3304 and

ISO 3305; actual dimensions and tolerances for hose inside diameters can be found

in ISO 1307.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents, through normative references in this

text, constitute indispensable provisions of this document. Among them, for

dated references, only the edition corresponding to that date applies to this

document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments)

applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in ISO 5598

4 Nominal outside diameters of tubes and nominal
